Haworthia Obtusa

Haworthia Obtusa is a distinctive windowed succulent prized for its rounded, translucent leaf tips and compact growth habit. Its plump green leaves allow light to filter through the leaf windows, creating a beautiful glass-like effect that makes this plant a standout in any succulent collection. Supplied in an approximately 10cm pot, it is an excellent choice for desks, shelves, windowsills, and small indoor plant displays.

This low-maintenance succulent offers attractive form and year-round interest without demanding daily care. Haworthia Obtusa grows slowly and stays relatively compact, making it ideal for apartments, offices, plant cabinets, and decorative arrangements. Its sculptural shape pairs well with other haworthia, echeveria, aloe, and mixed succulent collections.

• Distinctive translucent leaf windows create a unique and eye-catching appearance.
• Compact, slow-growing form suits small spaces and indoor plant displays.
• Low-maintenance care makes it a practical choice for beginners and experienced plant enthusiasts.
• Works well in succulent collections, terrariums with suitable drainage, and decorative pots.

Place Haworthia Obtusa in bright, indirect light or gentle morning sunlight. Protect it from intense afternoon sun, which can scorch the leaves. Use a free-draining cactus or succulent soil mix and choose a container with drainage holes. Water thoroughly only when the soil has dried, then allow excess water to drain completely. Reduce watering during cooler, darker periods when the plant grows more slowly.

For the best results, avoid leaving the roots in wet soil. Good airflow and careful watering help support healthy growth and preserve the plant’s attractive green color. Haworthia Obtusa can also produce small flowers on slender stems under suitable growing conditions, adding seasonal interest to its unusual foliage. Add this appealing Haworthia succulent to your indoor plant collection for a reliable, stylish, and easy-care botanical accent.
